Green version of my purple dress appeared on Proenza's runway a few years ago, a watercolor ikat kaleidoscope. Akin to Chanel's Métiers d'Art Paris-Edimbourg pre-fall 2013 show, where Scottish patriotic plaid was revived as luxurious art. Color (or lack thereof) transforms classics - see Warhol's portraiture.
