When I spy a fancy runway frock, I can't help falling a little in love, chasing it around like a lovelorn bunny until we're together forevermore. Modern Muse of the Future meets '60s Miss in gorgeous grape wool embellished with brass & mother-of-pearl flowers. This dress is displayed outside my closet like soft sculpture.

Deep in purple haze, light lilac wool printed in infinity squiggles with Peter Pan collar & self-tying sash. Paired with baroque Prada sunglasses: Peggy Guggenheim plus Iris Apfel's signature specs darkened. Worn again with a shift patterned in old Pucci floral swirls, sometimes worn backward so bow (best part) is in front.

My wardrobe grows like a garden blooming with flower frocks. My favorite flora is an unassuming specimen from Topshop; classics come in unexpected places. Fresh as a daisy in embroidered linen with puffy princess sleeves. Love travelling in linen: crisp or wrinkled, it reminds me of summers past/present/future on East Egg.
