Valentino bow frock was a birthday present: I desired it so much but didn't tell anyone & still got it, which made me happier than O'Henry's Gift of the Magi. Carven dress is retail ready version from designer Guillaume Henry's spring 2012 runway: a showstopper in solid lace (runway original has cutout midsection).

Barbara Hulanicki leopard paisley flippy frock bought from British bird who knows the value of vintage print. Fashion unites people: this lovely lady is so sweet, I'm sending her good karmic vibes forevermore. Ms. Hulanicki's 1960-70s heyday was as a fashion designer/illustrator & founder of Biba (the best shop & an incubator for artists). Serious picnickers: take a refreshing breath of black & white palette in a gingham dress.

Red (or coral) dresses don't make me particularly powerful or womanly - the opposite: they make me feel like a little girl in a party dress. Perpetually seeking Best Costume prize.
