MINKPINK Part II, xoxo to Bollare... Flora, Fauna, Merryweather are the three Good Faeries in Disney's Sleeping Beauty; always robed in their signature red, green & blue gowns, their wardrobe reminds me of MINKPINK's night-falls-on-jungle-flora skirt. Cotton-the-fabric-of-our-lives spins into a demure high waist padded with draped bustles like contemporary panniers - modern Marie Antoinette sojourns in the tropics sans her Louis Vuitton steamer trunks. My sweater's trompe-l'oeil Peter Pan collar affirms its darling-ness; Darling is an affectionate term often used flippantly to lessen its feeling... I have only one friend who says it right & he's Australian - perhaps it takes a foreigner to carelessly loosen the word's love.
