It suggests 1970s groovy schoolgirl style, such as Kirsten Dunst or Michelle Williams in the movie Dick - can't wait to wear it with my camel suede car coat & fir green fair isle sweater. Here the skirt swings elegantly below my Marc by Marc Jacobs top, still in rotation after several seasons thanks to its pinpricked embroidery. Bergdorf Goodman's legendary designer shoe sale kicked off in their posh salon today - I fell in love with so many pairs. It's decadent to wear something the day it's bought (usually I wait awhile to make sure I don't have a change of heart)... However, black pumps blooming with bows & flora from Miu Miu's fall 2010 runway shall accompany me to my friend's office holiday party tonight.
