Little Miss Sophisticate in some Slim Aarons-worthy pants & a buttoned-up blazer blooming with fuzzy pastel flora (recently I'm into pastels, albeit more faded watercolor painting than 1980s frosted makeup). I feel freer in flowing frocks than structured separates, but sometimes a leap of fashion garners a new style game. Usually this jacket swings open over a dress to reveal the sour apple lining; it's a little large because I disregarded the size upon discovering it several seasons past its debut at a consignment (long story with a happy ending). I'm drawn to the whippet thin lines of these trousers that sheathe my legs like a pair of !exclamation points! I'd wear them more if they were high-waisted; I prefer pants/skirts that reach all the way up to my bellybutton - they create a more playful proportion than low-riders.
