Top bracelets (left-right): vintage Avon, Lam, Florenza & Lisner
My Michael Kors v-neck shift is a snow leopard: the classic rebel print is blanketed under a pile of the white stuff. Leopard in 1960s movies: Anne Bancroft's coat in The Graduate, Audrey Hepburn's pillbox hat in Charade & Raquel Welch as the ultimate cavewoman in One Million Years BC. Here I'm inspired by 1980s glamazons dipped in Moschino gold & leather; their past few ad campaigns nodded to the Decade of Excess with heavy metal makeup & jewels. I adore Moschino's fall 2010 ads shot by street style goddess Garance Doré: staged snapshots on the sidewalks of Milan include a girl in a grey suit & leopard jacket I'm stalking. Delicate golden oldie bracelets (several by mid-20th century designers) + a First Place square buckle belt (visiting the House of Chanel circa 1985) = Goldilocks.
