The Black Swan

Anna Sui dress (collar worn as sleeves). Vintage belt & cuff. Chanel earrings. Jessica Kagan Cushman 'Do You Have Any Idea Who I Am?' bangle. Betsey Johnson sandals.
"Baby's in black & I'm feeling blue, / Tell me, oh what can I do? / She thinks of him & so she dresses in black, / & though he'll never come back, she's dressed in black... / I think of her, but she only thinks of him, / & though it's only a whim, she thinks of him" - The Beatles, Baby's in Black
This Anna Sui frock has a floppy collar of double-layered organza, but I tucked it under the shoulders to create fluttery cap sleeves. The fuzzy fabric is so gorgeous, I have another gown spun of it too: shimmery wisps of chiffon swirl in a paisley patterned frenzy. I bought my link buckle belt at a CT tag sale, but the original owner souvenir-shopped it on her 1970s Greek voyage. High School Senior Prom sandals: wood platform high heels ankle strapped with dusty rose strips of suede/leather. They coordinated with my Cynthia Rowley pink polka dot chiffon halter Prom Dress, but I'm in more of a film noir mood these days.
