Slippery Slope

Victoria's Secret slip. Levi's skirt. Vintage bead necklace (worn as belt), wood necklace (worn as headband), cameo/chain necklaces & bakelite/silver bangles. Enamel bangle. Prada sandals.
Awhile ago I saw a model dressed in a jean skirt & silk slip, which was exposed under the skirt's hem like free-floating trim. I vowed to recreate her sweetly whimsical look, starting with a slip both long enough to peep out & opaque enough to keep the effect Pure Romance. This denim skirt is a mixture of Tough (the ragged hem) & Love (patchwork hearts); it has such a low waist, I had to belt a necklace around my hips to keep it up. I'm in the market for a gold chain headpiece (Free People has pretty ones) but will wear this wood necklace in my hair until I find one.
