Paris is My Hometown

Shabby Apple dress. Vintage Carol Horn scarf (worn as belt), chain/vase necklaces & flower bangle. Prada sandals.
Shabby Apple seduced me with the above French frock. I adore this brand because: 1) we share a mantra: "A return to what dresses were always meant to be - a one-piece outfit. No need to add anything… Except accessories" & 2) they donate a percentage of profit to Unitus (a charity that provides micro-loans to the world's working poor). Shabby Apple makes easy everyday clothing that can also be taken on one's next Eat Pray Love trip. The titular dress from their 'oh la la' collection boils down French je ne sais quoi to a striped boat-neck top tucked into an A-line skirt (complete with playful pockets). I tied my vintage scarf as a belt to create the paper-bag waist & added some necklaces (the shape of this vase evokes the Eiffel Tower).
P.S. Here's a 10% coupon code to try on for size: Fashionshesays10off - hurry because it's valid for only one month. Thanks Shabby Apple!
