Vintage Rayna’s blouse. Hanes top. Twenty8Twelve skirt. Vintage flower brooch. Vintage 1928 & chain necklaces. Vintage mosaic & rock bracelets. Black tights. Chanel ballerinas."The mirror crack'd from side to side; / 'The curse is come upon me,' cried / The Lady of Shalott... / Lying, robed in snowy white / That loosely flew to left & right - / The leaves upon her falling light - / Thro' the noises of the night, / She floated down to Camelot" - Alfred Lord Tenneyson, The Lady of Shalott
The Masterpiece Mystery! adaptation of Agatha Christie's book The Mirror Crack'd from Side to Side inspired me to re-read Alfred Lord Tenneyson's poem The Lady of Shalott. The Lady & I are often "robed in snowy white" & a mirror is both our lifeline/curse (I'm never far from one - see the background for most of my indoor photographs). Today this mirror sends forth the reflection of a lovely lace blouse into the world; this top encourages me to lead the life of a proper gentlewoman - if only the Lady of Shallot was inspired to descend from her ivory tower before it was too late.

Super vintage & chic
