I admit it: I'm a Wang-ette (an Alexander Wang devotee). His fall 2010 RTW collection enthralled me: velvet (an old fashioned fabric I've always admired), thigh-high leg warmers (perfect under my dressy wardrobe) & layers of cropped blazers/vests - streamlined (Wall) street chic. I borrowed elements from Mr. Wang's recent collection for Black Friday: a velvet cropped tuxedo jacket envelops my taffeta frock, complete with a bow tie adorning one shoulder like a pageant sash. However, my love child roots followed me to the dark side (see the flowers springing eternal from this belt buckle & tights).
