Vintage costume gold necklace. ‘Love’ & seashell bracelets (souvenirs from my trip to St. Thomas).A young year, an older me... I sauntered to the beach after a late evening with a single goal in mind: hammock time. I donned a candy hearts bikini & a lightweight, ruffled vest as a coverup; a pearl necklace looped around my waist sufficed for jewelry impervious to sand.
Sand reminds me of Fergie's song-&-dance number from the movie Nine, which I saw before leaving for vacation. My favorite part featured Kate Hudson playing a Vogue magazine editor who dances down the runway in an homage to 1960's fashion (& incidentally to mom Goldie Hawn on the TV show Laugh-In).
