I feel like I stepped out of a Russian Christmas story in this Marc by Marc Jacobs' red coat... Mr. Jacobs makes the best outerwear - inevitably I'm tempted to buy a new winter coat every year; this one's lined in fleece, the collar & cuffs (which act as a muff) are made of coyote fur & toggle closures disguise a zipper. A vintage mink headband complements the coat's trim, while a red stripe on my bag brings out the coat's color. Today's a festive day (even for those of us who go to the movies) - family time spurred me to step into these rubber riding boots & take a stroll amid the remnants of last week's blizzard.
