I was invited by Miracle on Madison Ave to their annual event during which participating stores on Madison Ave donate 20% of today's sales to the Children's Aid Society. Knowing I'd be spending some time outside in the bracing Dec air, I bundled up in a vintage mink coat; too big to close with just its eye hooks, I tucked the coat tightly against my body & cinched it with a leather belt (tooled with hearts & studded in gold). While there are many pros/cons to wearing fur, it's undeniably a conductor of warmth - so much so that it makes additional cold weather accoutrements superfluous. An armful of bangles & dangling earrings fulfill my daily jewelry quota.
