Mixing patterns/textures is the name of the game today, but everything jibes because they belong to the same neutral color family: a gold/silver sequined top + a pair of brown/gray leopard tights + a metallic beaded bracelet. Lately I've been channeling a 1970's librarian with high waisted skirts; Phillip Lim’s ruffled confection is held together with a cummerbund-like band. I had the perfect cropped top to pair with the skirt: a vintage shimmery geometric-patterned shell. Bookworm by day, dancing queen by night...
