Walk on the Wild Side

Vintage Eloise Curtis for Happenstance top. Milly camisole. 3.1 Phillip Lim ruffled skirt. Vintage costume pearl necklace worn as headband. Satellite mesh bracelet. Vintage costume stone & diamond rings. Hue leopard tights. Delman shoes.
Sequins + leopard = wild disco pixie. Mixing patterns/textures is the name of the game today, but everything jibes because they belong to the same neutral color family: a gold/silver sequined top + a pair of brown/gray leopard tights + a metallic beaded bracelet. Lately I've been channeling a 1970's librarian with high waisted skirts; Phillip Lim’s ruffled confection is held together with a cummerbund-like band. I had the perfect cropped top to pair with the skirt: a vintage shimmery geometric-patterned shell. Bookworm by day, dancing queen by night...
