Tiny Dancer

Capezio sweater. Gold Hawk dress. Costume flower earrings. Vintage costume pressed flower/blue beaded necklaces. Kenneth Jay Lane elephant bangle. Vintage costume diamond bracelet. Luxe Girl argyle tights. Loeffler Randall 'Matilde' boots.
The holiday season is synonymous with travel... Visiting family & escaping to somewhere warm (soon!) require comfortably chic clothes. Many of my travel accoutrements come from Capezio (mecca for all things dance). As a former ballerina-in-training, I shopped there for ballet slippers, leotards & tutus; I still frequent them for ballet slippers (useful for plane rides) & wrap sweaters like this one (foldable to pocket-size).
I bought these boots for a business trip to Paris last year; after wearing them out walking the boulevards, my magical elf of a cobbler resuscitated them (note: a girl in search of a pick-me-up need look no further than a shoe-shine surrounded by gents in suits). An embroidered little white dress & preppy green tights complete my ensemble bound for the familial compound in CT!

  1. Hey :) I just recently found your blog and I must say it's one of the most inspiring I've come across in ages. I know you must be getting lots of new readers after your interview on Weardrobe but I was wondering if you'd mind if I did a small feature about you on my blog with a few photos? Let me know either way!
