Happy Thanksgiving! I wore a rosette organza dress to my family's luncheon at an inn on the lake; the place is old fashioned & luxurious, which is how how I prefer my rustic experiences to be. My frock has a ribbed bodice, trailing roses that pool into a skirt & an exposed zipper up the back. I kept on the cowboy boots I wore on this morning's walk in the woods & added a pair of pink/purple windowpane tights & a sparkly parrot cocktail ring to be festive.
As a vegan, I ordered a fruit plate for lunch - no turkey-fatigue for me. I need to be cognizant for the Black Friday sales tomorrow, which seem to have commenced without Friday. Sometimes I wonder if I'll tire of shopping/clothes/fashion; people hang art on their walls, but I prefer to hang it in my closet... Ultimately supporting the arts wins.
