Big bags by day are a way of life for me & Chloé creates them for chic mademoiselles. I shied away from stripes in the past because horizontal bars seem to carry a warning: objects in mirror appear to be wider than they are... Consequently, I only admired my favorite gamines' (Jean Seberg & Audrey Hepburn) signature styles from afar. However, when I broke my arbitrary rule with this ¾ sleeve top, there was no looking back – except to say boo to the mirror. The banded blouse dresses down this beaded skirt, whose scalloped hem is cunningly constructed to resemble fringe. Note: 1 sailor (top) + 1 flapper (skirt) = a good time.

ReplyDeleteNice combination of color and just love the final touch, lovely patterned hose, different and very effective.
